As the ISO family of standards develops into Integrated Management Systems (IMS), OHSAS 18001, Occupational Health and Safety will become vital to organisations wishing to achieve and maintain such certification. This natural synergy became more formal in 2008 when ISO 9001:2008 sought greater compatibility with ISO 14001. OHSAS 18001 lends itself naturally to this harmonisation of the main standards.

We are working towards the Safe Effective Quality Occupational Health Service (SEQOHS) standards for accreditation from the Faculty of Occupational Medicine which are due to be introduced at the end of this year.
